The heat dissipation of most bulb lamps is to apply thermal conductive silicone grease to transfer the heat of the chip substrate to the shell. However, the heat dissipation of LED lamps has been widely used by more and more LED manufacturers. Thermal conductive double-sided adhesive can replace thermal conductive silicone grease in many cases and help LED lamps achieve a good heat dissipation effect.
The first is to bond the aluminum substrate containing the LED chip, perhaps the ceramic substrate and the heat dissipation fin, or the shell; The heat of the chip is transmitted to the shell together, and the heat conducting double-sided adhesive has the effects of heat conduction, insulation and bonding.
Compared with thermal conductive silicone grease, thermal conductive double-sided adhesive has the following advantages:
1、The construction of heat conductive double-sided adhesive is convenient. You only need to stick it and press it gently. However, the use of heat conductive silicone grease is inconvenient. It is not easy for novices to apply evenly and easy to extravasate.
2、The heat conductive double-sided adhesive also has the functions of heat conduction, insulation and fixation. It can replace screwing and does not need to be fixed by machinery, so as to reduce the cost. However, the heat conductive silicone grease has no viscosity and must be fixed by screws, which increases the labor cost and reduces the production efficiency.
